Creative Digital Solutions join forces with LSi

Learning Strategies International  (LSi) creates online, blended and face2face education solutions to reshape and transform the sharing of knowledge for humanitarian, development and global health workers. We have joined forces with LSi to develop learning experiences at global scale, as part of LSi’s “talent network of learning leaders that provide networked thinking and practical solutions to deliver on” the mission of organisations working to improve our futures. We, like LSi, believe that no single individual or organization can solve such problems alone – and that unlocking how we learn is a key component of any solution.

In our first collaboration, we have made key contributions that include the learning design of a massive, open online learning system to train civil servants from Ministries of Health in 192 countries to scale up efforts against the world’s biggest killer diseases. The design and development of online learning activities involved creating a peer review essay, a rubric for peer evaluation, and a system for student self-progress reporting and tracking. The solution delivered is an international course suitable for a range of audiences, including policy developers and decision makers who need to adopt and adapt global recommendations to support local, national and global health improvements.
