In October 2014, we were commissioned by Tate Britain to evalute their new online learning platform which was launched last September in partnership with Khan Academy. Khan Academy is a non-profit educational website created in 2006 by educator and entrepreneur Salaman Khan, with a mission to provide “free world-class education for anyone anywhere. The site now has millions of users world wide, and is currently broadening its subject range from Mathematics, Science and Business to include subjects such as History and Art. Tate’s mission is to reach a broader audience through this new platform from diverse and international backgrounds. The evaluation work will run until June/July 2014 and if you are interested in being involved and providing your feedback about the platform, get in touch with us. We will be posting updates on the upcoming evaluation and outreach events on our blog.
